We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information for the purpose of: (i) taking action further to your requests to purchase Etro items, and (ii) complying with administrative, accounting and fiscal obligations connected with the sale of Etro items, and, in general, to comply with legal or contractual obligations that affect you.
We may also use your personal information to send you promotional materials and newsletters about items we offer and our latest products, news and special offers from time to time, via post, courier, fax, email, text message, multimedia message or other remote communications methods (“Marketing Purposes”). You will also be given the opportunity to receive such communications from us when you sign up to our newsletters or create an account with us via the website. As described below, you may opt out of receiving these communications.
Your email address may be used for the purpose of direct sales of Etro products or services that are similar to those you have previously purchased. Finally, we may also contact you via social networks in order to share data, information and material about the World of Etro with you.

You will be able to cancel your subscription to our newsletters at any time, simply by clicking on the Unsubscribe button that is found at the bottom of each newsletter.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may disclose aggregated information about our users (including statistical data), and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

The information that we collect from you may be stored and processed in the United States, the European Union or any other place or country in which we maintain facilities (or in which our service providers maintain facilities on our behalf).

ACCESSING, CORRECTING AND DELETING YOUR INFORMATION

We may keep your account information after you disable your account, in case you wish to make your account active again or as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement, cause the information to be incorrect or we are unable to verify your identity.

We have implemented appropriate measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. If you have created an account with the website, we ask you not to share your password with anyone. You should also use a strong password. We urge you to be careful about giving out information on or through the website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our website. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Third Party Marketing Information Requests

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an e-mail to privacy@etro.com. Under Section § 1798.83, we currently do not share any personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Do Not Track

We do not track our visitors over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and we therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.  We do not authorize the collection of personally identifiable information from visitors through our website.
